Pain sinks deep in your heart,
Confussion clouds the mind,
Your eyes are torn apart,
They both fail to see the signs.
A blind man stares into the darkest nothing,
And somehow sees it all,
The deft only hear a silent something,
And somehow, they can listen to the music of the world.
And here I stand now,
Looking through to the other side,
But still I stand here, somehow,
Just wondering why.
A man cryes out as loud as he can,
But we cannot hear,
Why, no one seems to understand,
It just isn't clear.
And here I stand now,
Trying to listen to all the sounds passing me by,
And still, I stand here listening to nothing, somehow,
Just wondering why

Don't overthink it
Some say I need education,
I say gimme drugs, alcohol and medication,
Wot's yer hesitation,
Screw my reputation.
We're just standing at the station,
Why not make it a deranged situation,
Quit your procrastination,
What's all your preocupation
We're too damaged for salvation,
Do the white and the green,
Do something you'd never do,
See all the things you've never seen,
Show me something new,
'Coz you ain't too old until you die,
And by then,
You'll have already passed on by,
So have another drink,
Life's swell when you don't overthink,
Everything.
Some say I should slow it down,
I say I 'll push it to the ground,
Can you fell my sound,
Breaking through and out,
All around,
This train I'm on is only one way bound.
Life's swell when you don't overthink.
So do the white and the green,
Do something you'd never do,
See all the things you've not yet seen,
And show me something new,
'Coz you ain't to old until you die,
And by then,

Before that day comes along
You spend your days just walking 'round,
With your head always full of things to say,
But your lips refuse to cast those thoughts away.
Always in a daze, that's what your life's become,
Tangled up in an endless web of lies,
I wonder, friend, what lies behind your eyes.
Don't you know that nothing lasts forever,
Thought you were a bit more clever,
We'll all slide away one day,
And so I ask, how come we never ever,
Truly come to realise we're here until,
Just before we've gone,
I hope you and I will,
Before that day comes along.
You don't ever quite know,
Where it is that you should go,
You always take the same turns,
As everyone, in fear that you'll crash and burn.
Don't you know that nothing lasts forever,
Thought you were a bit more clever,
We'll all slide away one day,
And so I ask, how come we never ever,
Truly come to realise we're here until,
Just before we've gone,
I hope you and I will,
Before that day comes along.
This ride,
Ain't about always being right,
At many times it's quite the contrarie,
For the right kind of wrongs,
Remind us that we're free.
