If it ain't in my heart

Everyone keeps telling me that only Sundays,
Are for staying in bed,
And doing nothin' but waste and wither away,
Well I do it everyday instead,
'Cause whatever purpose my life had long ago,
Is now utterly gone,
Don't know why, it just ain't in me anymore,
It scapes my mind, the reason.

Though, the outcome's truly appealing,
Only smokin', writin', and sleepin',
No concerns, no responsabilities,
The mementos I'm making are neither good nor bad, they're just memories,
Though everyone seems in dissagreement with this way to live,
It puts my mind at ease.

They say it's not wrong to acquiesce,
As long as you do so,
To their plain and emotionless requests,
Even when you know,
In yer heart you oughtta do something else,
Oh no, it ain't easy to live,
Specially when you have no room to breathe,
It's better to forget it all,
And just let yourself be.

You'll see the outcome's truly appealing,
Only smokin', writin', and sleepin',
No concerns, no responsabilities,
The mementos you'll be making will be neither good nor bad, they'll be just memories,
Though everyone will seem to be in dissagreement with this way to live,
It'll put your mind at ease.

I ain't gonna do what ain't in my heart,
This is who I've been right from the start.

Just a Rock'n'rolla

Everyone keeps telling me to get outta bed,
That I should grab a book and feed my head,
But what they fail to see is that I'm not interested,
In anything other than the next gig, the next bottle, the next cigarette,
So if it's all the same to you I'm gonna stay the course instead.

'Cause nothing really matters to me,
Only being who I wanna be,
I live my life out in the night,
Beneath the clouds and the stars that shine,
Don't give a damn about what you think's right,
'Cause honey Imma running outta time,
But it ain't my fault, I'm just a rock'n'rolla.

They all say you ain't worth anything,
If you ain't living the right way,
If you don't bow yer head and go along with everything,
Well if you go along with it all your throwing your life away,
That's what I say.

'Cause nothing really matters to me,
Only being who I wanna be,
I live my life out in the night,
Beneath the clouds and the stars that shine,
Don't give a damn about what you think's right,
'Cause honey Imma running outta time,
But it ain't my fault, I'm just a rock'n'rolla.

I'm just a rock'n'rolla, I'm just a rock'n'rolla

Our First and Last Rodeo...

As the leafs fall from the trees, so do we,
Nothing lasts everything dies out, in the end,
There are just whole and broken dreams,
And drained out bottles on empty streets,
So be sure to make it to count, don't miss a thing,
For this is our first and last rodeo my friend.

All that you can really do is what you want to do,
Drink, smoke, sing and live away all the bad memories,
Be yourself, stay young and true,
Before it's time for you to bid this ol' world adieu.

And sure, many things are unfair,
From our first moment of life,
We already have too much burden to bear,
'Cause, life, we know it ain't no easy ride,
But it's sure as hell an epic one too,
So unburden yourself from thoughts about our final resting place,
Pick yourself up off the floor, and wipe the tears from your face,
'Cause don't you know,
This is our first and last rodeo.

All that you can really do is what you want to do,
Drink, smoke, sing and live away all the bad memories,
Be yourself, stay young and true,
Before it's time for you to bid this ol' world adieu.
