Before you walk

Dive into that same old changing river,
The same mind-numbing scene,
To the likes of which I can't but shiver,
Nothing runs as deep as it seems.

Close your eyes, forget the day,
Feel as the pain fades away,
Light another cigarette,
And slip inside your mind,

Take the time,
Take the time to look around,
And think about what you'll do,
Dump the heavy skeletons that keep you down,
Before you walk you gotta know where you're going to.

Open your eyes, though everyone's gone,
You'll never be alone,
Sing a lonely song for a sad and painful world,
And once again, you and I together, will make it twirl.

It ain't over till you ain't breathin' no more,
We still got something left, that's worth fighting for,
A very much alive and untamable heart,
It has not yet come our time to part.

It's time to look around,
And think about what you'll do,
Dump the heavy skeletons that keep you down,
Before you walk you gotta know where you're going to.

A mythical city (NYC)...

I wanna be in New York City,
A place where you can just be free,
I wanna watch the sunrise from the top of the Empire State,
Then head down to the brooklyn bridge and watch the day dying away.

I wanna live in the city that never sleeps,
The one that everybody dies to see,
I wanna kiss the lady by the sea,
She who enlightens the world through liberty.

I wanna be in the city of the brave 2976,
Of those who fell but at the same time rose,
From the ashes they were reborn, like the phoenix,
Those whose stories still go on within the city walls.

How's it gonna be?

The train left me here without my bags,
Got nothin' on me, except for my guitar,
A pen to write about my ever present past,
And to endure all the letdowns and heartache, a mighty heart.

Every day is the same as the one before,
Though sometimes there are changes,
Things that were yesterday, sometimes aren't no more,
Those that were chained in the past, will someday become the chainless.

And that's how it is, and how it's gonna keep on bein'
No matter how hard you try
You can't keep those wheels from spinnin',
Nor us, from hearin' the silent cries, that often break the night.

At dawn, when a wave of fog sets on the plains,
I hear a symphony of unsong stories,
So much hardship, and, oh lord, the pain,
Not just in intensity, but also in colour, it varies.

And as I stand there overthrown by sadness,
I see that beatifully bumming wave break back,
The land seems once again peacefull and painless,
But if you look real closely, on my heart, you'll see the cracks.

Is that how it's supposed to be, is that how it's gonna keep on bein'?
No matter how hard we try?
Can't we keep these wheels from spinnin?
Can't we stop breaking the night, with our heart tearing cries?

If that happens to be the case,
I'll quietly wait for the train,
To pick me up once again,
And take me away to a place,
Where I won't see tears so bitter,
That they scar a soul's face

THE ANSWER TO LIFE'S MUCH EASIER THAN U THINK SON!!

Only through yer own eyes can you really start to see mate. Society's not the way, and if it is, it's the wrong one. It's whole concept's based on the assumption that we're all alike, when we're not, we're different, and it's whithing that difference that exists our humanity. So fuck the white collars and the legislatures, the law-makers and the lawyers, the politicians and the lobbiests, the judges and the criminals, the cops and the felons, hang them all, and let them all burn slowly in the pire. Burn the flags and constitutions from every country in the world, disband the nations and bring down the boarders and limits. Burn the wallstreet-behaving bastards along with all the bankers and all the other money-mungering whores who fuck people up for a living. Burn the labels you have on God, abandon the believe that those narrow and hard to walk fucking paths, those box size jails, that all the various religions are, are the only ways to peace and love, 'cuz they really lead only to one place, destruction. And those two things everyone's always yappin' on about, exist withing ourselves, they reside only in our souls, they cannot be found out there in the world. That's why some people are miserable in one particular place and others are happy in the same fucking place. Happiness and peace, we choose to show them or hide them, in the end it's up to you, you wanna be happy? Burn the "social" version of "you", exorcise it if you will, only then will you trully come to know who the fuck you are, what you're fucking made of. See life through your own eyes, not through someone else's. Be yourself, let things be, stop trying to be perfect, and be free, only then will you trully be happy and at peace... CHEERS!
